  • If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding day will be a holiday.
  • If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the following day will be a holiday.
  • If a public holiday falls on a Tuesday or a Thursday, the administration will allow an "extended holiday," although this will be compensated by making a Saturday a working day.
