His Majesty King Letsie Ill, pursuant to section 3 of the Public Holidays Act, 1995 and acting in accordance with the advice of the Minister of Home Affairs, appoint the 16th December, 2022 to be observed as a public holiday.
The holiday is to allow for the smooth running of elections of the Stadium Area #32 constituency.

As per Legal Notice No 90 of 2022, the public is hereby notified that His Majesty King Letsie Ill pursuant to Section 3 of the Public Holidays Act,1995 and acting in accordance with the advice of the Minister of Home Affairs appoint the 7th Of October,2022 to be observed as Public Holiday.
The employers are therefore requested to release their employees on time — the 6th Of October 2022 as to allow them to travel to their respective constituencies to participate in the National General Elections.
General elections are scheduled to be held in Lesotho on 7 October 2022 to elect all 120 members of the National Assembly, the lower house of the Parliament.
