National Holidays in Antigua and Barbuda in 2019

Coronavirus: Travel status Antigua and Barbuda opened its borders on June 1 in a phased plan that includes reopening the international airport. Visitors are required to wear a mask in all public places. Additionally, visitors must take a COVID-19 test 48 hours prior to arrival and be able to present documentation of negative results.   • If Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday. If Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday and Tuesday shall be public holidays.
  • Sundays, Christmas Day and Good Friday are observed as Common Law Holidays.
  • If a public holiday falls on a weekend, it is not moved to a weekday.
